About Luigi A. Moretti
His career is positioned at the intersection of clinical medicine, technology, and human-centered design. With a background as a Medical Doctor (MD) and experience in the startup world, he is fluent in the languages of diverse stakeholders: from clinicians and academic researchers to product designers and business leaders.
This multidisciplinary perspective is the foundation of his PhD at UWE Bristol, where he is leveraging affective computing and a rigorous co-design methodology to create digital tools that are not only technologically innovative but also deeply empathetic and clinically relevant. The MEMoPAD project is the culmination of this journey, aiming to build a more effective and accessible future for mental health care.
